Getting ready for school in the morning doesn’t have to be a stressful process where you’re rushing out to the door to get to school on time. In fact, your mornings can be vital in allowing you to have an amazing day! Below are 5 tips I follow, and recommend you use to mold a productive morning routine.

1. Choose your outfit and pack your backpack before you go to bed. This saves time in the morning, and gives you time to think through all that you need for the next day so you don’t forget anything.

2. Go to bed early! If you have a hard time falling asleep, read a book, perform some type of stretch, or listen to calming music. Just find whatever works for you! Having a good amount of sleep is such a game changer and provides you with enough energy to power through the next day!

3. Set your alarm a few minutes before you actually need to wake up. Instead of having to hit the snooze button numerous time, all you have to do is set an early alarm. When you do this, you are less likely to sleep in and be late to school.

4. Wake up with a positive attitude. If you wake up thinking your day is going to be horrible, and you don’t want to go to school, then you will have a horrible day and not enjoy school. Be positive!

5. Eat a filling and healthy breakfast. Eggs and toast, fruit smoothies, and oatmeal are all yummy options that are easy to prepare in a pinch.
